In a shocking incident from a local German LAN, a streamer and player by the name of MAUschine was caught on camera assaulting one of his opponents, Fabian "Spidergum" Salomon, in the ultimate example of being a "sore loser". The incident took place at CAGGTUS Leipzig LAN Party in the German city, with MAUschine being seen on camera walking up to his opponent and slapping him across the face, leaving Spidergum dazed and confused while the host called for MAUschine to be removed from the stage.

ESIC has announced that Maurizio “MAUschine” Weber has been given a lifetime ban from all ESIC events following a serious incident at the CAGGTUS LEIPZIG LAN PARTY.

The suspension relates to an unacceptable breach of the ESIC Code of Conduct, as the watchdog's investigation found that MAUschine committed a physical assault against another participant from an opposing team on stage following a match.

MAUschine has already been banned for 10 years from DACH CS Masters and Fragster prior to ESIC's statement immediately after the violent incident following the conclusion of the grand final at CAGGTUS Leipzig, and is now additionally banned from participating in any ESIC Member event in any capacity on a permanent basis.

"While ESIC does not adjudicate matters based on public reaction, the visibility of the conduct only reinforces the importance of decisive action," ESIC's press release states.

"ESIC will not allow behaviour of this nature to be normalised, minimised, or excused under any circumstances."
