SlothiW standards
Editorial Policy
Our publishing rules are designed to make CS2 advice traceable, current, and clearly separated from advertising.
Last reviewed October 4, 2026
Sourcing
We prefer Valve, Steam, official tournament organizers, game files, and direct marketplace documentation for factual claims. Secondary sources may add context but should not replace an available primary source. Price claims must include a source, currency, and observation date.
Authorship and review
Every substantive article should identify a named author and their relevant role or experience. High-impact recommendations and commercial reviews should also identify a reviewer. Authors must disclose conflicts that could reasonably affect the work.
Reviews and recommendations
We explain selection criteria and test conditions on the page. We do not publish ratings that are not backed by a documented method. Affiliate status is not a ranking factor and a partner may not purchase favorable coverage.
Updates and AI assistance
Material changes receive an updated date and, where useful, an update note. Automated tools may assist research, formatting, or analysis, but a human editor remains responsible for checking claims, links, calculations, and disclosures before publication.
